Pediatric Dental Excellence treats children from ages 0-17 years old. Those with special needs can be seen past 17 years old.

Babies

On occasion babies and newborns need to see the dentist right away. Did you know some babies are born with teeth? No problem though, Dr. Ryan can help. We also treat babies who have “tongue-tie" or "lip-tie".

Toddlers

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry “AAPD”, recommends that children begin to see a dentist by 1 year of age, or by the time their first tooth comes in. Why so early? It turns out that children who see the dentist from an early age are MUCH LESS LIKELY TO DEVELOP CAVITIES. Dr. Ryan believes if your child gets to know him from an early age, most fears of the dentist go away.

Big Kids

Most children start to get their adult teeth around age 6. Bye-Bye baby teeth, hello forever teeth! It is a very important time to make sure brushing and flossing habits are perfect! It is also when Dr. Ryan can start to tell if your child’s adult teeth are developing normally and when you can expect to see more.

Teenagers

By age 12 most children have only adult teeth. Before Dr. Ryan was a pediatric dentist, he was a general dentist (adult dentist). So, we see children up to age 17.

  I would recommend this dentist office 10x, they are the best. They were so polite kind and caring to my son. They made him feel very comfortable and kept me up on everything they were doing. Loved the experience will be returning when it’s time.
