Pediatric Dentistry for Teenagers

By age 12 most children have only adult teeth because all their baby teeth have fallen out.

Before Dr. Ryan was a pediatric dentist, he was a general dentist (adult dentist). So we see children up to age 17.

Age 17 is around the age most people’s wisdom teeth start to come in. Wisdom teeth are the “3rd molars”, and the last teeth to come into the mouth.

Pediatric Dental Excellence can determine if these teeth need to be removed, and provide you with a referral to an oral surgeon.

  Dr. Ryan is not only knowledgeable (he will explain everything to you in detail before doing the procedure) but also kind and super
friendly. My daughter just told me she loved how Dr. Ryan was doing the procedure. Initially, she was nervous but later felt comfortable while having the procedure.

Dr. Ryan is also honest and generous in offering referrals to other clinics that accept your insurance.

The front desk staff went beyond your expectations. She was kind and super helpful.

The TV and cartoon movies were another great addition that will help your children ease their anxiety during the procedure.

  Continuing to receive excellent care from Dr. Ryan. The facilities are fabulous but it’s Dr. Ryan’s patience with children and ability to explain each step of the process that makes all the difference.   Very nice, clean and professional space
