Low Radiation Xrays

It is recommended that children around age 4 start to have Xrays to make sure there are no hidden cavities. Xrays allow us to see parts of the tooth that the eye can not see. Xrays let us make sure our exam is not missing hidden cavities. Pediatric Dental Excellence uses 100% digital Xrays and Phosphorous-Plate technology to minimize your child’s exposure to Xray radiation. At our office, a typical set of Xrays is less radiation than if your child were to fly on an airplane. They are totally safe! We are happy to review your child’s Xrays with you! We love to explain the “why”.

About Dr. Ryan

Dr. Ryan is from the Philadelphia Suburbs. He graduated from Temple University’s Dental School in 2016. After dental school Dr. Ryan served as a dentist in the United States Navy. While in the military he and his wife lived in San Diego, California, Okinawa, Japan, and Quantico, Virginia.

  One regret,
I WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN ALL MY CHILDREN TO PEDIATRIC DENTAL EXCELLENCE on 3300 HENRY AVE A LONG TIME AGO, IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! no waiting, no delay, they took my child straight back and as a walk-in. We were seen so fast!!!  Customer service was outstanding. Dental assistants were kind and patient with my three children.

  I wish i could give more than 5 stars!!!! A previous dentist told me my 4 year old needed to go under anesthesia for some dental work. I called Dr. Ryans office to get a second opinion and he took the time to actually talk to me on the phone ( before we even did an office visit) got me in the very next morning and took the time to review the xrays and prescribe a treatment plan that was pain free for my daughter and less than 10 minutes. His staff was wonderful, clean kid friendly office,. I have never been more impressed by a dentist. Thank you Dr. Ryan and staff for making this a easy painfree experience for my child and my well being. So happy to have found our new dentist!!!!
