Silver Diamine Fluoride

Silver Diamine Fluoride is one of the newest medications used in pediatric dentistry. It is a liquid combination of medical grade silver and fluoride that can “freeze” a cavity. Sometimes it can be used instead of placing a filling. No injection, no drilling, no pain. Silver Diamine Fluoride is best for small cavities, and on teeth we do not see when we smile.

About Dr. Ryan

Dr. Ryan is from the Philadelphia Suburbs. He graduated from Temple University’s Dental School in 2016. After dental school Dr. Ryan served as a dentist in the United States Navy. While in the military he and his wife lived in San Diego, California, Okinawa, Japan, and Quantico, Virginia.

  Dr. Ryan and all the staff were amazing!! It was our first visit and we will be back. My very dentist-phobic daughter had work done that we previously thought needed general anesthesia. They were kind, patient, and their tools were perfect for kids with sensitivities and gag reflexes.

  First time here today for my four kids & I loved it. Everyone is nice, friendly. My 16,14,10 & 4 year old was treated with care, they held conversations with my kids during the whole process and made them laugh!  I can go on and on how they made me and my family comfortable but this is an experience you must witness for yourself!

  Pediatric dental excellence is the best! If you dont take your kids here, you are missing out. The entire Staff is fantastic! I have never been to a dentist office that works so efficiently. I will not be taking my kids anywhere else.
