The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry “AAPD”, recommends that children begin to see a dentist by age 1, or by the time their first tooth comes in.
Why so early? It turns out that children who see the dentist from an early age are MUCH LESS LIKELY TO DEVELOP CAVITIES. Dr. Ryan believes if your child gets to know him from an early age, most of their fears of the dentist go away.
